Mountain men, Trappers and
Indians meet on the banks of the Big Cypress Bayou to swap goods, tell stories and celebrate survival of another season.

School-Youth-Scout Groups
are invited to attend a “Day of Learning”on Friday, which will include structured tours. If you are interested in being a part of our event, let us know.

Primitive Camping Available
American history re-enactors have
access to a complete primitive camping site. Wood, water and showers are available.


 

Native American Hertiage Month

The theme for this year's heritage month is "Pride in Our Heritage. Honor to Our Ancestors ." which will be recognized in our Trammel’s Trace Rendezvous where history comes to life.

The event takes place on November 11-12, 2011 with set-up beginning on November 09, 2011.

Are you a pre-1840’s re-enactor, period vendor, crafter or entertainer? Then you are invited to the Trammel’s Trace Rendezvous and Native American Heritage Celebration at the Big Cypress Bayou RV Park, 1602 Highway 49 East, Jefferson, TX 75657.


If you plan to attend we encourage you to fill out our registration form and email it to us so we may do advance planning. There is no fee for vendors, crafters or

 CANCELLED due to the continued Burn Ban in

Marion County. We have rescheduled for

May 4-5, 2012 and November 9-10, 2012 so
